Terms of Service

LeagueLytics (the “Service”) is a product of Stacked Systems LLC (“we”, “us”, “our”), an Indiana limited liability company. LeagueLytics is the name of the product, not a separate company or business name: these Terms of Service (the “Terms”) are an agreement between you and Stacked Systems LLC, which operates the Service, bills you for it under its own name, and is the party responsible to you under these Terms. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, don’t use the Service.

The Service lets a fantasy football league’s commissioner connect a league hosted on ESPN’s fantasy service, and builds from that league’s results a history page, insights, and weekly written reports that the league can share by link. Paid features (“Pro”) add a treasury: a ledger for recording buy-ins and computing who is owed what from rules the commissioner sets.

We read league data through the same interface ESPN’s own website uses, signed in as you: to connect a league you give us two cookies from your own ESPN session (espn_s2 and SWID), and you authorize us to use that session solely to read that league’s data on your behalf — the import, a nightly refresh, and the weekly report pulls. We never ask for your ESPN password, we never write to or change anything in your ESPN account, and we keep the session encrypted, show it to no one, and delete it when you remove it in Settings or delete the league (Privacy §3). You confirm you are a member of the league and are allowed to share its data with us and with the people you give links to. LeagueLytics is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by ESPN, Inc. or the National Football League; ESPN is a trademark of ESPN, Inc. ESPN may change or withdraw that interface at any time, and the Service depends on it (see §10).

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials confidential and for everything done through your account. Tell us promptly at hello@leaguelytics.app if you think your account has been used without your permission.

By connecting a league you confirm that you are its commissioner (League Manager) or have the League Manager’s permission to do so, and that you have the authority to share its history, results and the names of its managers with the league through the Service.

League data we import from ESPN (team names, scores, transactions, draft picks, and the display names and first and last names ESPN shows for each team’s manager) is used to run the Service for your league. The names and email addresses you enter — manager names you set, payout rules, payment notes, and the email addresses managers leave when they claim their team — are your content. You are responsible for having a basis to share that information with us and with your league, and you grant us the rights needed to store it, display it on the pages you share, and send the emails you and your managers ask for.

We may use league data in aggregated or de-identified form (for example, how many leagues use a given payout rule) to improve the Service. We will never sell personal information.

Your league page, each weekly report and the buy-in sheet are reachable by anyone who has their link, without an account. Links are unguessable, but they are not secret once shared: anyone a manager forwards a link to can open it. You can delete a league, which disables every link for it, at any time. You decide whether the pages show managers’ first names or their ESPN usernames.

The treasury is a record-keeping tool. LeagueLytics does not collect, hold, custody, transfer, escrow or pay out any money, and is not a payment service, a money transmitter or an escrow agent. Buy-ins, payouts, fines and fees are settled between the league’s members on their own payment apps or in cash, outside the Service; the treasury only records what you tell it and computes amounts from the rules you set and the results ESPN reports. Whether a league’s figures are right, whether a payment was actually made, and whether anyone pays what they owe are matters between the league’s members.

You are responsible for determining whether playing fantasy sports for money is lawful where you and your league’s members live, and for complying with any such laws. We do not organize, operate, promote or take part in any league or contest, and we take no fee from any league’s pot.

Free. You may connect one league at no charge, with the history page, insights and weekly reports. We may change what the free tier includes with notice.

Pro. Pro is sold per league, per season, at $20.00 (prices may change for future seasons with notice; current prices are shown in the app before you buy). It unlocks that league’s treasury and, for leagues beyond your free one, the whole Service for that league. A Pro subscription renews automatically each year, so a league stays Pro into the next season, until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from Settings; Pro then continues until the end of the period you’ve paid for, and we don’t prorate or refund partial periods except where the law requires it.

Payments are processed by Stripe. We don’t see or store your card details. Your receipts, the billing portal and your card statement will show Stacked Systems LLC (statement descriptor STACKED SYSTEMS LLC), not “LeagueLytics” — the same company, under its legal name. If a renewal payment fails, Stripe will retry it; if it keeps failing, the subscription ends and the league returns to the free tier (or, for a league beyond your free one, becomes unavailable until paid). Prices exclude any applicable taxes, which we collect where we are required to.

Don’t use the Service to break the law, to harass, defame or expose anyone (including through names you set or notes you enter), to connect a league you have no right to share, to send unsolicited email, to probe or overload the Service or ESPN, or to copy the Service. We may suspend or end accounts that do.

The Service — its software, design, insight definitions, report formats and name — belongs to us and our licensors. These Terms don’t give you any rights in it beyond using it as intended. If you send us feedback, we may use it without obligation to you.

LeagueLytics is an early-stage product. We aim to keep it running well, but we don’t promise any particular level of uptime, and we may change, pause or discontinue features or the whole Service. In particular, the Service depends on ESPN’s unofficial public interface; if ESPN changes or withdraws it, parts of the Service may stop working and we may be unable to restore them. If we discontinue the Service while you have an active Pro subscription, we will refund the unused portion. We don’t promise that the information shown — including imported results, insights, computed payouts and the written reports — is complete or error-free; check anything that matters.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. The short written summary on each weekly report is generated by software, including a language model, from the computed facts; it may be inaccurate or incomplete, and it is not a statement of fact by us about any person. Computed payouts are a convenience, not a determination of what anyone owes. Nothing in the Service is financial, legal or tax advice.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Stacked Systems LLC and its members, managers and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill, arising out of or relating to the Service, however caused. Our total liability for all claims relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or fifty US dollars (USD 50). Some jurisdictions don’t allow some of these limits; in that case they apply to the fullest extent allowed.

You will defend and indemnify us against claims, damages and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your league, your use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms — including any claim by a league member about money owed, a name shown, or an email received.

You can delete your account at any time from Settings; that cancels any Pro subscriptions, deletes every league you connected and disables every share link. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms, if we must for legal reasons, or if we discontinue the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive (including 4, 6, 9, 11, 12, 13 and 15) survive termination.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Indiana, and you consent to their jurisdiction. Before filing, you agree to try to resolve any dispute informally by emailing hello@leaguelytics.app and giving us thirty days to respond.

We may update these Terms. For material changes we’ll give notice in the app or by email at least fourteen days before they take effect; continuing to use the Service after that means you accept them. The effective date at the top is the current version.

These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service. If a part is unenforceable, the rest stands. Our not enforcing a term isn’t a waiver. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them in connection with a merger, sale or reorganization. Notices to you may be sent to your account email.
